Another few coats of KTM-9 went on tonight but a majority of the evening has been taken up because I finally gathered the courage to add up the total $AUD I have spent whilst making this guitar. It is an interesting amount. I will report as to the cost, tools used and number of hours soon.

Thanks Craig. That is exactly one of the things that I wanted to acheive with the blog. If I can steer you away from a few dramas then I'll be happy.
I chipped out on the fret board as well and used clear araldite with sawdust mix in. The colour blended well and I'll be using this process more next time as it works well.
I did find however the I put it on too thick - it is hard to sand down the fret board surface.
